I'll huff and I'll puff

My daughter wanted to play the Big Bad Wolf so we took it in turns to be the Big Bad Wolf. This is her turn and she decided that her Big Bad Wolf had Super Huff and Super Puff and could blow down the brick house as well. I used Scott Bourne's Velvea action (from TWiP #19) to add some pop and it really worked well. Thanks Scott!

Chess Player

Freya and Hamish are having fun with the chess board this morning.

French horn

The improvement Freya's getting in her tone in just a couple of weeks is nothing short of astounding. She plays fiddle and piano too, but I think the horn is her instrument. It's the one we don't have to 'remind' her to practice!

Lights!

I've been working my way through Zack Arias's Onelight 2.0 workshop and ordered a lightstand and 150cm umbrella on the strength of it. They arrived today and I did some practice shots of Freya this evening. This is with the SB800 shooting through the umbrella. I have a lot to learn and I expect the curve to be steep, but hopefully it won't be too long before I'm getting the hang of it and am getting good results!
